Mobile

We provide a range of mobile application (app) design and development services including applications for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Android, Windows Phone, Symbian, HP webOS, Bada and Blackberry.

 

We can develop your app right from the initial idea or concept all the way to deployment (including submission to app stores). This includes native apps, Adobe Air apps and web apps.

 

We have designed and developed an award winning mobile app (Starting Blocks) as well as creating apps for a range of clients including University of Warwick and Coventry City Council.

Games

We are experienced in using the latest games development tools for an array of platforms and we have a particular interest in serious and educational games. We can provide a complete service including all design, artwork and development for all types of games including online and multiplayer games.

 

Platforms include iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Android, Blackberry and other mobile games, Facebook games and web games (using tools such as Flash, HTML5 + JavaScript and Unity).

 

We have several in-house games on the market and have developed various educational games for multiple clients.

Virtual Worlds

We have extensive experience with Second Life in particular, although we can also create custom virtual worlds and environments using tools such as OpenSim, Open Wonderland and Unity.

 

We can provide development, consultancy and project management services in this area. This includes designing and creating built environments, developing interactive activities and learning exercises, developing training simulations, full island and sim development, general building and scripting, object creation, custom animation development and chat bot development. We can also provide various interactive training sessions for a range of audiences on the use of virtual worlds.

 

Our virtual world clients include University of East London, University of Edinburgh and University of Leicester.

Digital Videos

Using the latest technology, we can create an animation, virtual world machinima or demonstration video for your app, product, service or company. We offer a complete service which includes music and soundtrack development and voiceovers.

Web

Gemixin offers a variety of web design and development services ranging from simple web sites, with search engine optimisation and social media features, to complex web applications. The tools we use for this include HTML (HTML5), CSS (CSS3), PHP, SQL, AJAX, XML, Flash, .NET and JavaScript.

 

We are also experienced with content management systems such as WordPress and creating e-commerce sites.

Training and Workshops

We provide training and interactive workshop sessions for a variety of audiences on various technology topics. Our experience includes providing training on the virtual world Second Life to a group of University of East London staff and students, and running a workshop on mobile technology for local seniors.
