Senior Workshop Complete

Our six-week mobile tablet workshop for local seniors has come to an end and has been a great success.

During the workshop, participants learned everything from the very basics of turning on the device and unlocking it (our award winning app Starting Blocks was a useful teaching tool here), to using apps, Skyping, emailing and browsing the web.

It was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we received some fantastic feedback and several thank you cards and gifts

Starting Blocks Now Available in German

We are pleased to announce that our award winning Android app Starting Blocks is now available in German.

The app, which is already available in English and Spanish, aims to help beginners learn how to use Android devices.

New Version of Starting Blocks Featured at MWC

Starting Blocks, the app which won a Vodafone Smart Award in December 2012, is now available in Spanish. Version 2, which also features 2 new lessons, was developed so that Vodafone can exhibit the app at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

TombStones Web Game Launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new, original Flash web game, TombStones.

It’s a puzzle/quiz game that features single player and multiplayer modes. The aim of the game is to unlock tomb doors and reach the treasure, by solving the clue on the door and dragging the correct stones in to the holes.

Free Mobile Workshop for Seniors

Preparations are now fully underway for the “Mobile Tablets for Beginners” workshop that we are running for local seniors.

The workshop is being run as a result of our Vodafone Smart Accessibility award, and we will be using our Starting Blocks app as a key teaching tool throughout the sessions.

Starting Blocks Wins Accessibility Award

We are delighted to announce that our Android app Starting Blocks has been announced as the winner of the 2012 Vodafone Smart Accessibility Award in the social participation category.

On Monday we traveled to Brussels, Belgium to pitch our app to a panel of judges at Vodafone HQ along with the other 2 finalists in our category. Later that evening at the awards ceremony, Starting Blocks was announced as the winner and we were awarded the amazing 50,000 Euros prize.

This will enable us to further develop the app and run a small workshop for seniors on how to use smartphones and tablets, using Starting Blocks as a learning tool. Stay tuned for more news and updates.

Space Words Pro for iPad Available Now

The Pro version of our action packed word game Space Words is now available for iPad.

The game, which sees you control a spaceship that flys over letters to make words, will also be available as a free Lite version and for Blackberry Playbook soon.

The iPad Pro version is the most feature packed version of the game with Game Center leaderboard and achievements. It is also 100% advert free and at only 69p is the best way to play Space Words!
