Several weeks ago we entered a competition to create a Second Life avatar of ‘Albert Einstein in the 21st Century’.

Today we have been informed that we won third prize!

We only found out about the competition a few days before it closed, so instead of focusing on an intensely accurate replication, we decided to go for a fun approach and play on the ‘how he might look in the present day’ criteria of the competition. We created a custom, original skin (based on photographs of the real Einstein) and added various touches, including ‘night sky’ trousers, badges, an ‘atom’ ring, and a working QR code to complete the avatar.
